This year’s 17th Best Cebu Blogs Awards (BCBA) was a truly memorable celebration of Cebu’s vibrant blogging community, and I am incredibly grateful to have been part of it. From the moment I stepped into Oakridge Horizons Cafe and saw the breathtaking setup, I knew it would be a special evening. Indeed, it was a night I will always cherish. While I didn’t win in my category, I was honored to receive the 2nd Runner-Up award in the Founder’s Choice category. This recognition is a testament to the passion and perseverance I’ve poured into my blogging journey, and I am truly grateful for that.
The awards night was held at Oakridge Horizons Cafe, nestled within the beautiful Oakridge Business Park in Mandaue City. The venue perfectly set the tone for the event, exuding sophistication and warmth. With its chic interiors and cozy ambiance, the Horizons Cafe, welcomed us warmly, setting the stage for mingling and photo opportunities. I couldn’t help but admire how the venue elevated the overall experience.
Another highlight of the night was the incredible food prepared by Oakridge Horizons Cafe. Every dish was a treat, reflecting the care and attention to detail Oakridge is known for. The blend of flavors was nothing short of exceptional, perfectly complementing the evening’s festivities.
Celebrating Blogging Excellence
The awards night was an emotional rollercoaster. Seeing fellow bloggers recognized for their hard work and creativity was inspiring, and it reminded me of the vibrant community I am privileged to be part of.
While I didn’t take home the win in my category, being recognized as 2nd Runner-Up in the Founder’s Choice filled me with pride and gratitude. It’s a unique honor that reminds me to keep going, no matter the challenges.
