Cartagena: The Place

I’m not really a beach lover, I only go to beach to unwind and think and to escape from the city. As most of us know, there are lots of beaches here in Cebu especially on Mactan area. But this one I stayed for the entire weekend is a lot different from all the other beaches in the island of Cebu. Cartagena Beachwalk Resort is located in Brgy. Guiwang in Alcoy, south of Cebu, the newly operated beach resort in town. Cartagena is a family name and the business is shared with the Cartagena siblings and family.

When we say “beach”, the first thing that will usually come out with our minds is the white sand. True. Some beach resorts share the same beaches and only differ with the accommodations. If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy the beach and at the same time treated not just a guest but as a family, then Cartagena Beachwalk Resort is perfect for you. You wouldn’t believe me, but this is true. You will never get the kind of accommodations from other resorts that Cartagena is giving to their guests. Aside that the resort is pocket friendly, they will provide you with the things you need while you stay there, except for food, though you can cook 🙂
