Last Saturday marked my first #CBSConnect with the Cebu Bloggers Society, and as a new member, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to get to know everyone and immerse myself in this exciting community. However, there was a small hitch—I had to figure out what to do with my son since I didn’t want to leave him alone at home.
After some thought, I decided to bring him along. Instead of making him wait in the lobby for the duration of the event, I opted to book a room at the Yello Hotel where #CBSConnect was being held. This way, he could relax in comfort while I attended the event.
I opted for the Executive room, which comfortably accommodates three people. Since I had one more person accompanying us, it was the perfect choice. The room was spacious, with a modern design and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. While I was at the #CBSConnect event, my son and our companion could relax and enjoy the hotel room. It was a win-win situation that ensured my son wouldn’t get bored, and I could focus on the event.
One of the unique features of the hotel was its innovative way of handling room service. Instead of the traditional method of calling the hotel’s restaurant to order food, each room is provided with a unique QR code. We simply had to scan the code using our phones, which redirected us to a website displaying the restaurant’s menu. From there, we could easily browse through the options and place our order with just a few clicks. This was incredibly convenient and efficient, and our food was promptly delivered to our room. This system eliminated the need for phone calls and made the entire ordering process seamless.
At #CBSConnect, I had the opportunity to meet other new members and interact with some of the more seasoned bloggers. It was an enriching experience to hear their stories and learn from their blogging journeys. The hotel even arranged a special tour of the property for the new members. This tour was a fantastic way to see what the hotel had to offer. We explored different room types, each designed with comfort and style in mind. The variety was impressive, from cozy standard rooms to luxurious executives. Each room was thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary toiletries, complimentary water, and coffee, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights of staying at this hotel is the buffet breakfast included in every room. The breakfast is served at the Amarillo Restaurant, located on the top floor of the hotel. This restaurant not only offers a wide range of delicious breakfast options but also provides a stunning panoramic view. Starting the day with a hearty meal while overlooking the cityscape was a truly delightful experience.
The entire #CBSConnect experience was a wonderful blend of networking and relaxation. It was great to be part of the Cebu Bloggers Society, to learn, share, and grow together. The hotel stay added an extra layer of comfort and convenience, making the whole weekend enjoyable. It was the perfect way to kick off my journey with CBS, and I’m already looking forward to the next event. Whether it’s for a blog-related event or just a weekend getaway, this hotel certainly knows how to make its guests feel at home with their innovative services and thoughtful amenities.
