Holiday Inn, an IHG hotel opened in Cebu City last June and offered a significant discount for their opening. I did score one reservation, and though I wanted it to be on my birthday, the promo date was only until the last day of August. Still, I booked for an overnight stay because why not. We really do not need a specific reason to stay in a hotel.
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Ayala Center Cebu shopping mall and is close to Cebu’s IT Park. Kids ages 12 and under get to stay and eat for free when sharing a room with their parents. The hotel’s seventh-floor houses leisure, dining, and events facilities for guests of all ages to enjoy: an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and three fully-equipped function rooms.
To be honest, an overnight stay wasn’t enough. If only we had more time to spare, we definitely would have stayed longer. Good food during the breakfast, literally a lot to choose from. Clean pool with a nice view. And a very comfortable bed.
Is it just me, or do you as well check the bathroom first when entering a hotel room? I do that all the time. A clean bathroom means a clean room. That’s just me! Probably! Haha!
Forget about the diet! The exciting flavors of local and international cuisine made the hotel’s breakfast buffet superb.
May not be a budget-friendly hotel, but it’s worth it. Best for those who are looking for a home to stay away from home. Why not treat yourself to a staycation? I just live in the city but will definitely be going to stay there again! 🙂
