Music is such a huge influence on fashion trends. It has an undeniable effect on how some people determine their personal styles. Sometimes the kind of music one is listening affects their clothing choices. Same to makeup styles to some women. Music icon becomes a fashion icon. A Kpop fan, for instance, dresses the way a Kpop icon does. An Avril Lavigne fan is doing her makeup like AL does. Music and fashion indeed have a close relationship regardless if it’s in the past, today or the future.
We all have different music and style preferences and where to get the influence is all up to us. I, on the other hand, get dress according to my mood. And my mood changes according to the music I’m listening. Perhaps, a minute of RnB would make me want to look edgy or a slow song to a girly look. But of course, it is not in a day to day situation.
